  A Stoicism classic. No need to become an extreme Stoic, but a good read on how suffering has always been a part of human existence.

• Incerto Series by Nassim Nicholas Taleb

  Also known as The Black Swan and Fooled by Randomness. This is a thought provoking four book series that skewers the Washington consensus and most of the Establishment’s thoughts. That being said, after reading Taleb’s books, then read this review that shreds his work. It’s hilarious.
